Blén (ብሌን) is a singer, songwriter, and creative storyteller from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, whose work explores identity, intimacy, memory, and the emotional terrains of becoming. Raised in a culturally grounded yet globally aware environment, her life experiences inform a reflective and deeply personal approach to music and narrative. Her sound exists at the meeting point of tradition and contemporary experimentation, blending Ethiopian melodic DNA with alternative soul, ambient pop, acoustic warmth, and subtle electronic textures. Her songwriting centers presence, vulnerability, and inner truth. In June 2026, Blén released her debut EP, Sèkèn (EP), a five-track body of work exploring trust, emotional courage, self-realization, and the quiet resilience found in vulnerability. The project began with the title track, Sèkèn, in October 2025, followed by a second release, Tèkètèlègn, in December 2025, marking Blén's full arrival as one of modern Ethiopian music's most thoughtful and deeply human voices.
